Hopeful and Glorious alias Heather and Gordon Chapman are delighted to be back in Lytham for the 5th year running
Heather is the brains of the outfit, having worked in arts and events in the Lancashire area for 20 years. Heather likes to get hands-on with making and doing, with stitch and collage being favourite techniques.
Gordon is the whizz kid of the pair. His speccy glasses and pale demeanour indicators of a lifetime tinkering with computers. Gordon is largely impractical but knows how to make pixels dance (his words not mine!!)
Building on past successes will have plenty to see and do with an incredible array of artist’s stalls each day. The artists taking part in the Fair have been specially selected for their quality of work and unique approach as well as making sure there is a good range of ‘artworks’ and something for everyone.
Although there are ‘regulars’ to the Fair. Heather and Gordon are always scouting about for what fresh & new in the arts & craft world
These are just examples of previous years, they include glass, ceramics, paper craft, painting, jewellery, photography, illustration, textiles, and more.
Explains Heather from Hopeful & Glorious.
This is such an incredible venue. We are working with some fantastic artists, designers and makers and to have a venue such as Lytham Hall makes the experience of our fairs extra special. The quality and range of work being produced on the Fylde coast, Lancashire & the North West is quite amazing –the creativity is really astounding. Every year we really try hard to make our events even better so there will be plenty of unique things to buy for gifts or for yourself.
Make sure you dont miss the Winter Event at Lytham Hall one in November, see Events Calendar for more details.
Hopeful & Glorious hold other art events around the North West, so to find out where they are going to be in 2020 and beyond and join their mailing list to stay ahead at their H & G Website
