For a Young at Heart Mum
A piece of clothing wouldn’t go a miss especially if she is one of those mums that never spends much money on herself! But make sure its classy and not trashy unless you KNOW she would love a split to the thigh, plunge maxi dress. I know it sounds like a cop out but always get a gift receipt too just in case.
In Lytham, there is the small but perfectly formed, Attire on the High Street. The beauty of shopping local and independent is you build up that rapport that is sadly lacking in many national chains. They will advise you on key trends and what pieces will match her existing wardrobe, plus great handbags and new soy candle goodies too.
For a Traditional Mum
Think a little touch of luxury here with a beautiful scarf or wrap which will brighten or finish off any outfit, plus keep her warm, a great selection locally from Amity on Henry Street in Lytham, some beautiful classic weaves made in Scotland
or how about a silk pashmina, they are currently in the SALE …..but we wont tell anyone!! These are by Lemon Grove Gifts stocked at Amity by Jill’s daughter Louisa who regularly visits the Med to source lovely items (including jewelry and handbags).
For a Mum that needs spoiling

For a Travelling Mum
If your mum is going on holiday or is planning a spa day how about new swimwear from Pure Mischief on Henry Street. They have an extensive range of bikini, tankinis, and swimsuits, all their swimwear is bra sized, some styles up to a G cup, why compromise on the fit of your swimwear after all it’s the least clothes you will ever be seen out in public wearing!! They also have lots of accessories too. If not completely sure, you can buy a voucher that Mum can use either for swimwear, lingerie or sleepwear.
Introducing NEW for 2016 Moontide Swimwear from New Zealand and return of a favorite Lingadore with fantastic offer of a free sarong on at the moment. All with styles a bit more up to date than this….although that IS quite cute!!
