Kick off the Lytham 1940’s weekend in style with An Evening of Swing with Blue Skies! Step back in time and enjoy a night of timeless tunes, live music and vintage glamour.  Whether you’re dancing the night away or simply soaking up the atmosphere, this is the perfect start to a fun-filled weekend! Minimum £5 donation on the door. All monies raised goes to Blue Skies, your local NHS charity. Hosted by Jane Dean with many fabulous guests (see poster)

Join us for our Razzle Dazzle dance party to celebrate the start of Lytham’s 1940’s weekend. We will be playing music from the 1920’s through the decades – Jive, Lindy, Sequence, Ballroom and strolls.

A brand new show which pays tribute to all the brave men and women that showed such gallantry during those troubled years between 1939 and 1945.
Lowther Theatre  follow the exploits of a typical British family as they experience the trials and tribulations associated with a country at war. For those with a fascination for the 1940s this production will delight and divert!
All underscored with a fabulous selection of period treats. Tributes are paid to The Andrews Sisters, Gracie Fields, Vera Lynn, George Formby, Noel Coward, Max Miller and Arthur Askey.
