Rowan Charles Cotton
An Indian Summer all year round
There was a pop up shop in St Annes that lovers of all things ‘ethnic’, colorful and little bit boho that locals need to discover. Unfortunately it had to close down, but It’s now online!
It all started with the Indian Cotton,
Lindsey and her husband fell in love with India, and Rajasthan in the North West of the sub continent in particular. The state (or province) is the largest in India and the name Rajasthan literally means “Land of Kings” Its capital and largest city is Jaipur. Because of it’s position it has influences from all around the bordering states and the Punjab state of Pakistan.
When we think of India visually we think of vibrant colours and patterns and this is exactly what drew Lindsey, to want to bring some home, and the fact that she had not seen (much) like it locally. The beautiful dressing gowns, pyjamas .tablecloths, throws rugs and cushions are brilliantly colourful with traditional Indian designs such as paisley and designs inspired by nature and animals .
What came next is the fabulous Polish oven & Tableware, which as well a looking great in your home (in both traditional & modern settings) but are a great long lasting gift
