PLANNING YOUR YEAR
Whether you are a local planning when to take holidays or visitors knowing the right time to visit I hope this helps? I know ‘something for everyone’ is a massively overused cliche, but it perfectly describes the Events coming up in 2020!
From Outdoor Theatre to Open Water (at Fairhaven), Classic Cars, Club Days, Christmas Lights, the 100 years of St Annes Carnival, the continuing success of the International Kite Festival & 1940’s Weekend that bringing 1000’s of people into the area and boosting our economy and you lucky locals have ALL this on your doorstep! Can anyone really say ‘Nothing much goes on around here’!
There’s also the Windmill Museum, The Lytham Heritage Centre, St Annes Pier, The Fylde Gallery at Booths (Lytham), Park View Park & Playing Fields, Ashton & Lowther Gardens, Lowther Theatre, RSPB Ribble Discovery Centre (at Fairhaven Lake), also have a brilliant (Fylde) Ranger Service that have lots of free activities for children. There is also an annual St Annes Music Festival but as of now cannot find any details of 2020 dates
Listed for now are just the BIG general interest events, there is always LOTS of smaller specific interest events too.
