Panto Lowther Theatre 2016

Following the incredible success of the pantomime Cinderella at the Lowther Pavilion last December, Polka Dot Pantomimes are once again looking for children who live in the local area to take part in this year’s festive extravaganza, Jack and the Beanstalk!

Polka Dot Pantomimes promise to bring you everything you’d expect from a professional pantomime… and more! Dazzling costumes, fabulous scenery and some truly magical surprises are just a few of the things you can expect when you take part. This is guaranteed to be a magical opportunity that you will NEVER forget!!

This year the Lincolnshire based company, are looking for an all singing, all dancing chorus of boys and girls who are aged between 9 and 18 years of age. No previous dance, acting or singing experience is required; Polka Dot Pantomimes want to welcome anyone with a genuine interest in theatre to audition this year.

Between 18 and 24 young people are needed to form three teams of 6-8 who will play alternate days during the run, performing alongside our professional principle actors.

Auditions for this year’s pantomime will take place on Saturday 21st May at the Lowther Pavilion from 10am – 12.00pm (Please note that children wishing to audition must be no younger than 9 by September 1st 2016.)

If you wish to audition please download an application pack from our website www.polkadotpantomimes.co.uk alternatively send us an email admin@polkadotpantomimes.co.uk  or give us a call on 01775 712359 and we will post you one.

The audition pack MUST be filled in and brought with you on the audition day. The form will also require you to attach 2 recent photographs (passport style is probably best).

The chance to perform in this year’s pantomime production is truly amazing but it will require permission for children to be released from school for some performances.  This is kept to a minimum and although many schools are supportive of their pupils participating in events such as this, parents should speak to Head teachers before the audition to ensure that they are willing to allow absence from school should your child be successful. Your child MUST be available for their selected performance dates and for all rehearsals. Every child performing requires a performance license – Polka Dot Pantomimes co-ordinate this but need parental support to help them achieve that!

Polka Dot Pantomimes look forward to seeing you……….and would like to WISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK!
