LOWTHER GARDENS & PAVILION

Lowther Gardens Lytham

The Gardens were created in 1872 and the Pavilion in 1921 they were named Lowther in honour of Eleanor Cecily Clifton (her family name). Home to Lytham Amateur Operatic society since 1928.

Hosting diverse events from beer festivals to craft fairs, Jason Manford to Fylde’s got Talent, Old Time Music Hall to Northern Soul evenings and pantomimes to outdoor theatre, sorry to overuse the cliche but… there’s something for everyone!

New at the end of 2017 a Huge 7m Cinema Screen has been made possible by a donation by the Windmill Community Benefit Society. Showing cult classics, old favourites, children’s films and sing along musicals, see Box Office link.

Currently going through further upgrades to the Theatre building & parts of the Gardens via the LOVE LOWTHER  project there are BIG changes ahead, see link for how you can get involved
